Women smell better
So, you've got this cave woman looking after her cave kids a
few hundred thousand years ago. There's a pack of 'em, cave
kids, I mean. So, before they came up with names like Buffy,
Todd, et al., how did cave mom figure out, under all that hair
and with them all looking pretty much alike, who was whose.
By smelling them!
So, millennia later, Mom or no, women still have this more
highly developed sense of smell, albeit it lessened from the
kid smelling days. With taste and smell so heavily interralated,
who is more qualified, on the average, to taste anything,
including wine? You bet she is and who does the waiter ask
to taste what they'll both drink?
Hmmmm. Food for thought. (Red wine goes well with that!)
