WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG is a blend of 93% Sangiovese
and 7% Canaiolo-Colorino grapes. Vinified with the skins,
this wine is then aged in oak barrels of varying ages
and sizes for 18 months. Ruby red in color and full
bodied, the wine exhibits pleasant aromas of berries
and plum. It is a bold and spicy on the palate, with
rounded blackberry accents and smooth tannins. Chianti
Classico is a perfect accompaniment to meats and red
sauces.
