We are working toward making our Wine Country listings of wineries, lodgings, B&B's, activities, events, dining establishments, and other features the most extensive and comprehensive available anywhere.

It is our goal to make WineXplorer the only place you need to visit to find out what you need to know about the Wine Country.

There is a lot to know about us. To make some sense of it all, we will rate as many listings as possible. With over 1,000 wineries/vineyards in California alone, thousands more hotels, B&B's, restaurants, activities, etc. we can not possibly visit each and every one.

When we have visited an establishment or participated in an activity, we will tell you about it. We will also attempt to rate as many other listings as possible.

All our basic listings are free to bone fide businesses. To insure that our listings are current, we audit all businesses via e-mail quarterly.

Additionally, all businesses are given the opportunity to enhance their listings. There is a charge to the business for this enhancement but, at no time, can a business purchase ratings of their listing.

It is important to note that our ratings for wineries/vineyards do not reflect on the quality and/or price of the wine produced. We leave that to the wine experts. Our ratings relate only to facilities at the business. Any other recommendations are clearly stated.
