Royalty Recommends:
Prince Charles and King Kong enjoy Chateau de Nada Bop Rothschild,
1972, Estate Reserve because they've got the funds to buy
it. We've decided to focus on the wine country of Northern
and Central California. There's 600 wineries up here!! We
think this area, we're headquartered in Napa Valley, produces
some of the best tasting wines in the world. A lot of folks
agree with us and we think you will too. France makes some
good wine too but they're usually overpriced (and overrated,
in our opinion). We really don't know too much about their
wines so you won't hear much from us about them.
Actually, Italy makes (and drinks) more wine than France
and, from time to time, we'll tell you about great wines from
there, from Australia, Chili, the rest of Europe, and Iceland
if we find some that tastes good and doesn't cost too much.
Our little rendition of French Wine Making, below, is a bit
rough maybe, (no offense intended to those French visitors
here! We're just kidding, really,) but one of our objectives
here at WINExplorer is to take wine down off its pedestal,
make it accessible to everybody. The French have resisted
this so we feel it necessary to poke fun at that arrogance.
