Vintage White Wines

Not all wines get better with age but those that do are mostly the collector’s wines. These vintages ought to be kept properly in cellars at the right temperature. So here is a short list of vintage wines which you will be able to pick up from a store and have your own vintage collections.

Chateau Monbousquet Blanc 2003: This is a fine collectable white wine is a Bordeaux White Blend of St-Emilion, Bordeaux, France. This wine is rich, creamy and quite a mouthful that is characterized with a hint of tropical and a habitual citric personality. The finishing has vanilla and toasts notes that come from it stay in its oak barrels.

Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc 2005: This fine collectable white wine is a Bordeaux White Blend of Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux, France. It has a bouquet of apple tart, honey, light toffee, piecrust and cream. The wine is extremely complex and full bodied with dynamic acidity and red apple, clove honey and lemon flavors. The wine is long balanced and lively. The wine is made to age, a massive white and beautifully layered.

Chateau Monbousquet Blanc 2005: This fine collectable white wine is a Bordeaux White Blend of St-Emilion, Bordeaux, France. This wine is more like Burgundy that Bordeaux, it exhibits richness, medium to full-bodied with smoky oak, white peaches, mango, nectarine and honeysuckle flavors. While it is delicious now it is suspected to reach its full potential in the next four to five years.

Radikon Ribolla Gialla (500ml) 2005: This is fine collectable boutique white wine is from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. This wine is an intense yellowish gold. It is full of aromas with fruity, flowery and spicy under-notes. The smell has freshness and complexity and it has a tannin note which is strong. The aftertaste has a sensation for fruits and spices.
