Advantages of drinking red wine:

Disadvantages of drinking red wine
- Generally alcohol consumption in large amounts is known to increase the risk of cancer of the mouth, throat and gullet. However red wine has only about 8% of alcohol, also the capacity of alcohol intake depends from person to person depending on weight and presence of ADH which breaks down alcohol in the stomach before it enters the blood stream.
- Red wines are known to contain tannin which is a plant polyphenols, known to cause migraines. Those people whose bodies have highly sensitive serotonin level are more at risk.
- Sulfites: Red wine contains sulfites and there are certain people who are sensitive to this.
