For a wine to be Kosher, the wine making process should be made only by Sabbath observing Jews and wine that is to be Kosher for Passover should be kept free from any contact with bread or grain or dough.All Kosher wines come with a hechsher i.e. a seal of approval that declares the wine as Kosher.
