Everyone enjoys a good deal on any product they are interested in. Getting a really good wine for a really good price is something many people would like. The point system that these wines score on is based and taken from publications like Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast.

McCrea Boushey Grande Cote Vineyard Syrah 2006: This red wine is 94 point rated from Columbia Valley, Washington. The bottling of this wine is among the best in its class. The wine is broad, full bodied, toasty and fully realized; from the many years in the bottle the wine is very smooth and still has a even longer life ahead.  Cherries, chocolate, berries, coffee, mocha, fungus, graphite and tobacco are the tasteful aromas you will get from this wine.

Penley Estate Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon 2009: This red wine is 94 point rated from Coonawarra, Australia. From a distance the wine will appear bright crimson. This wine is the best of the 2009 variety from the Penley Estate. The wine is full of recurrent and blackcurrant bursting flavors, the wine has been matured in fine tannins and quality cedary oak. The wine is medium-bodied and complete.

Yalumba Eden Valley Shiraz + Viognier 2008: This red wine is 94 point rated from Barossa Valley, Australia. The wine is deep colored, fragrant and savory full of violet bouquet and red fruit, showing a little peppery complexity. The wine is generously fruited, medium bodied and the tasteful underpinning provides a lot of freshness to its finish.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2008: This red wine is 93 point rated from Columbia Valley, Washington. The wine has a hint of spice: tobacco and milk chocolate. It is filled with ripe fruit flavors with a texture of peppery tannins giving the wine a touch of irresistible elegance.

La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir 2009: This red wine is 92 point rated from Central Coast, California. It is a vital and rich complex Pinot Noir, which is completely dry. It maintains a fine balance between dried herbs, notes of mushroom, pomegranates and ripe cherries. The wine has a lot of terroir that may take some years to age.

 

Vintage White Wines

Not all wines get better with age but those that do are mostly the collector’s wines. These vintages ought to be kept properly in cellars at the right temperature.
